The day I had been waiting for

All the while when in Beijing, I was thinking how will it be like when this dog comes home.

Dad and mum picked me up from airport. On the way home, she kept saying how smelly the dog was.

But when I reached home, and the first time I carried her in my arms,

It was the sweetest smell, ever.

A dream come true

I remembered coming back home. And told dad that I went pet farm and saw this particular dog.

I remembered dad said, "Ok let's go and see RIGHT NOW." when it's already close to 6pm (pet shop closes at 6).

It was rare that dad would so readily say "let's go" and really go.

On our way there, I was praying hard that that dog I saw will still be there.

When we stepped into the shop, she really was still there, with her brother. The shopkeeper brought the 2 puppies out in the cage for us to see. The male one was super crazy. And this dog, she was quiet and hesitant, and immediately, dad said, ok let's buy her.

I AM SO HAPPY.

The first time

It was a magical day. Went out with someone I thought we would never talk again, but not only we talked again, but this person drove me to see dogs together, albeit using my car, and we even saw one dog that immediately captured my heart.

I saw so many golden retriever puppies. But I knew in my heart, that I wanted something more brownish. And brownish this one was, and too brown (haha) in time to come too. And her paws were beautiful, brown and round. I knew in my heart, this one has got to be it, and I prayed in my heart she could go home with me.

I never dreamed that I could bring this dog home one day.

But I did.
